Roofing Sales Manager (Salary, Bonus & Commission)

Position: Roofing Sales Manager

We’re looking for a hands-on Sales leader with proven roofing sales experience who can both lead and perform. This is not a desk-only role—you’ll be actively involved in the field, working alongside your team, setting the pace, and ensuring deals are getting closed. You’ll be responsible for building a team of strong sales reps, doing ride-along and helping them close more deals them in, and driving consistent revenue in a fast-moving, competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and develop roofing sales representatives who can perform in the field
  • Train new and existing reps on roof inspections, in-home presentations, and closing techniques
  • Lead by example through field involvement, including ride-along, joint appointments, and deal support
  • Drive team performance by setting clear targets, tracking metrics, and holding reps accountable
  • Help generate and close deals when needed, especially for high-value or complex projects
  • Establish and refine sales processes that improve close rates and overall team productivity
  • Ensure reps are properly equipped and prepared for daily field activity

What You Need:

  • Proven experience in roofing or home improvement sales management
  • Strong background in direct, in-person sales (you understand how deals are actually won in the field)
  • Experience interviewing, hiring, and training sales representatives from the ground up
  • Reliable car or truck (this is a field-driven role with regular travel to appointments, job sites, and team support)
  • Ability to lead from the front—not just manage, but actively support and elevate your team’s performance
